If you're a full-time student and a part-time worker who's trying to balance a social life, then it's difficult to find the time to work on all of your assignments.

Even though it's a horrible idea to wait until the last second to write an essay, sometimes it ends up happening.

If you're stuck in a sticky situation where you have to get your work done in a jiffy, here are a few ways to BS an essay and still get an A:

1. Check Spark Notes

Hopefully you've actually read the book you're supposed to be writing an essay on.

Of course, it's easy to forget the little details, which is why sparknotes.com should be your new best friend.

All you have to do is type in the book that you want details on, and the site will give you a summary of each chapter.

It's a great way to brush up on your facts.

2. Read an Expert's Opinion

Some essays require you to cite sources.

Instead of coming up with your own opinion about a book and then looking up sources for it, you can look up sources, read what the experts have to say about the story, and then create your topic from there.

It's a quick way to come up with a thesis.

Just don't steal their ideas outright.

3. Treat It like You're Taking a Test

When you write an essay during a test in class, you can't look through books for facts.

You have to write about a topic that centers around the stuff you actually know, so you actually have things to say.

You should do the same when creating an essay at home.

If you write about something you already know, then you won't have to waste time doing research on the subject.
