There are so many reasons to take notes on your tablet in class instead of using a traditional notebook. While using a notebook has some pros (like being able to doodle in it), typing your notes on a tablet can make your life easier in so many ways. If you don’t typically take notes on your tablet, you should consider doing so. Here are a few reasons to take notes on your tablet in class.
1. The NOTES ARE MORE LEGIBLE
One of the most obvious reasons to take notes on your tablet is that if you have messy handwriting, you will be able to clearly read these notes. Typing your notes on a tablet makes studying them much easier in terms of legibility. So instead of struggling to read the scribbled notes you attempted to write down from your fast-talking teacher, try typing them on the notepad of your tablet! You will love how much easier your life is when it comes to using them.
2. TYPING is TYPICALLY FASTER than WRITING
Typically, these days, most of us type faster than we write. This is handy for those classes in which your teacher doesn't understand the concept of speaking at a normal pace. If you can type quickly you will be able to record more of what your teachers say in class.
3. YOU CAN RECORD LECTURES
Afraid you might miss something during a lecture while you're trying to take notes? No worries. Most tablets come with a "record" feature, allowing you to take audio recordings of the lectures, so you can go back and listen again to catch anything you might have missed.
4. PHOTOS, TOO!
If you take classes where a lot of information is presented in visual or diagrammatic form, you can snap photos with your tablet and review it when you are ready. With complicated math problems, it ensures you get the formulae down correctly.
5. DON'T HAVE to CARRY around MULTIPLE NOTEBOOKS
You are in danger of developing a hump or a lopsided walk with the weight of the bag you have to carry around thanks to the heavy books. You can replace your notebooks with a tablet. Have a different folder for each class, and not only do you save weight, but you stay well-organised too.
