1. Honey and Lemon
One of the natural remedies for acne that my friends rave about the most is lemon and honey. This treatment is extremely simple; slice open a lemon, drizzle some honey on the exposed inside of the lemon, and massage your face with this acne-busting machine! The citric acid of the lemon dries out acne while the honey simultaneously moisturizes your skin! So try out this efficient homemade remedy for acne next time your face betrays you.
2. Steam
I'm a huge fan of steam rooms, but there's no way I could go to the spa every day! So, since my face has the most delicate and vulnerable skin on my body, I often steam my face from the comfort of my own home. Steam draws the toxins out or your skin as well as calms it down. Plus, you can add unlimited essential oils, teas, and delicious scents to your steaming water! It's a little bit difficult to bear all of the steam at first, but this natural remedy does wonders for acne-prone and easily irritated skin!

3. Clay Mask
Like steam, clay extracts toxins from your skin, purifying it and ridding it of acne. You can get all natural clay masks virtually anywhere, but my personal favorite is Boots Botanics Iconic Clay Mask with Willowbark from Target! I love doing a clay mask regularly, about every other Saturday to keep my skin pure, clean and acne-free!

4. Ice
This is by far the simplest way to clear acne, but is still extremely effective! All you need for this all natural remedy is ice - that's right, frozen water. You may want to wrap the ice in foil or plastic to keep some of the cold directly off of your face, but ultimately you can do this with one simple ingredient! Ice doesn't make acne disappear, but reduces the swelling on individual pimples so that they become much less obvious. I've used this remedy time and time again and have never been disappointed!
5. Cucumber and Yogurt Face Mask
Since cucumbers are about 95% water, they’re great for hydrating your skin. They clean deep into your pores, extracting extra oil from your skin. The active cultured bacteria in yogurt helps exfoliate and nourish your skin, leaving it smooth and soft! Overall a cucumber and yogurt face mask is a must for anyone suffering from acne.

6. Tomatoes
Like lemons, tomatoes are acidic, which means they dry out pimples in no time! Moreover, tomatoes contain vitamins A, C, and K which are known to kick acne’s butt! You’ll often find these vitamins in acne medications, as well as in your own refrigerator! So slice up some tomatoes, and place the slices on your face to get rid of acne!
7. Healthy Diet
With most bodily issues, you can often trace acne back to an unhealthy diet. If your day consists of doughnuts for breakfast, fast food for lunch, and pizza for dinner, your body is probably deficient in several nutritional needs. You should try to incorporate more fruits and veggies into your diet, as well as exercise regularly. Giving your body what it needs can help reduce acne significantly as well as deal with other health problems.
As a teenager, you're already self-conscious enough as it is, then your body has to throw things like acne at you! But luckily, there are tons of medical miracles for acne in both prescription medicine and natural remedies. How do you deal with acne?
