7 Things Only Sisters Understand ...

Having a sister means having a built-in best friend because whether you like it or not, you two are stuck together for life! Your sister is there for every milestone in your life. Seriously, can you think of any big moments in your life that your sister wasn't a part of? I sure can't. My sister is my go-to for whenever I have exciting news to share, and vice versa. It's this unspoken bond and it's pretty awesome. The friendship is just one of the many things only sisters understand!

You and your sister have an exclusive mutual understanding of just how weird and dysfunctional your family really is. You know when something happens at home but you can't tell your friends because they just wouldn't "get" it? Well, your sister will because she knows exactly what you're dealing with. Family parties are hilarious together. My sister and I have gotten to the point where we can just look at each other and we'll know what the other's trying to say and we'll just burst out laughing!

As children, you and your sister pretty much owned all of the same things, just in different colors. My sister had everything in pink and I had everything in purple - that's just how things went down! I guess it was also convenient for my mom to know what belonged to who. Was this true for you and your sister? What were your colors?

This couldn't be any truer. My sister and I argue over the most pointless things but five minutes later we're binge-watching Grey's Anatomy together. It's weird. Sisters are the queens of forgiving and forgetting. After all, how can you stay mad at the person you spend the most time with?

I can't tell you how many times my mother has called me by my sister's name. Honestly, do moms even try anymore? LOL. My sister and I are two years apart but as kids, we looked so alike that even family members would mix us up. Can you imagine if we were actually twins? I guess we can't get mad at our moms for doing this because we'll all probably do the same when we're older!

With sisters, borrowing each other's clothes is either totally acceptable or punishable by death. LOL! I can totally attest to this. My sister and I have no problem wearing each other's clothes (as long as it's done sneakily). I can't tell you how many times I've caught her running out of my room with a pile of clothes. Still, it's awesome knowing that you'll always have double the wardrobe. You can never say you have nothing to wear!

No matter how much you guys fight, you'll love each other unconditionally. If that's not an awesome feeling, I don't know what is.
